why would you buy a mac to run XP...pay 3x less buy the parts online and make your own computer that's faster with XP no real computer person cares what their computer looks like...at least not until last to be equitable to the mac fans, macs in general are not slower, the newest ones are in line with the current gen windows systems. They just generally cost more with locked in hardware. Games costing more is pretty irrelevant now that made for windows means 60+ dollars for rehashed crap but the selection on a mac is still relatively limited to just the biggest name windows games and very few native games there is nothing you can't download on a mac that you can on xp as long as the software format is compatable with a mac, which in most cases now is all...just don't always expect to get the best performance
