lol, nice. Of course weed should be legal. Making nature illegal is stupid. Weed does not make you stupid, stupid people show their lack of intelligence when the smoke weed. That operation in Alabama the last week is disgusting. These college students were going to school, let them do what the fuc they want as long as they don't hurt others.

If we cared about stopping the cartels, legalize all drugs, and watch them fall. Anyone heard of a beer baron in 2013? no, cause we legalized alcohol... We give guns to the caretels, then allow our backs, i.e. wachovia to funnul the money for them. And the CIA uses their planes to get stuff across the borders. This whole drug war is a stupid. It a fake war cause the ones fighting it are bringing the drugs across.

If you check into it, you'll see that Amsterdam has had a lot of problems with gangs and corruption caused by their decisions on this matter.

I think it's going to be very interesting to see how the economics and logistics of the CO/WA legalizations work out.

    LOL! Nice topic =)

I believe that not only marijuana should be legal but all the other drugs should aswell.

But that's never going to happen because millionaire bussiness would be over for mafias and powerful criminals bounded to politicians.

I never smoked pot, even tho I'm curious, but I know there is a risk of schizophrenia presenting as a side-effect. I guess it's a matter of educating people and trying to convince them not to overdo it ?....

Never did drugs, but do live in the Netherlands and I know a few people that do smoke it.

Its somewhat legal here, and mostly I dont see a lot of addicts or other bad things happening. And perhaps if it was legalized, there'd be less crime surrounding it all etc etc.

    So yeah, I'd legalize.

i also dont even consider it a drug, no man made chemical is put into to make it a drug, and theres no addictiveness too it. if thats the case then alcohol should be banned again. but then prohibition and all that nonsense will start up again.

^Truth for maybe 1/5th the population

Also, the punishments for smoking marijuana are obscenely strict.

Nah marijuana should still be illegal, even if almost all use it doesn't mean it's good.

Should definitely be decriminalised. By decriminalising and regulating/taxing, we could save space in our prisons for violent criminals as opposed to non-violent drug users. "Just as the government does not have any say about what comes out of my mouth, neither should they have any say in what i freely decide to put in it" (I forget where I heard that quote). Cheers! :D
