The Sims set new precedents for strategy games and practically invented the "virtual life" simulator. Consequently, and because it was just so much fun, it's one of the greatest games of all time.

I like Sims 1 better..Sims 2 is so complicated! Plus, it always crashes on my computer and I have no idea why. My comp has plenty of memory and isn't old at all.

I LOVE The Sims 2. I can't wait for the new Bon Voyage expansion pack to come out..that one looks like it's going to be awesome. They can swim in the ocean now! :)

It used to make my old laptop overheat all the time and shut down on me. I had to prop it up on 2 books and have a fan blowing the air underneath it to keep it cool, lol. It was lame, but it worked. Then I got a MacBook Pro and installed Windows and the Sims onto it and I've had no problem. For those of you with space/speed problems, you could always try the Sims 2 Life Stories lines... they're made to be laptop friendly, and certainly PC friendly, for that matter. :p

I played the Sims 1, loved it, loved turning the people into toads in Makin' Magic, then letting my dragons eat them up. XD
Also loved it when the people get burn to death in the dead of the night when the dragon decides to set fire to stuff. C:

That was the only Sims 1 expansion pack I didn't buy... now I kind of wish I had, that sounds pretty cool, haha.

Installed Sims2, played it for an hour, uninstalled it.
It's a boring game and total garbage.

I am thinking of getting the sims 2, if my comp can run it smoothly.
How many expansions does it currently have?
