at every reputable school they DO want you to show up for every lesson, or at least try to. besides it doesn't hurt to be responsible. like if you know you have an early lecture the next day don't go out and get wasted. it isn't too hard.
Agreed. University (degrees) basically dictates what kind of job, and living, you are going to get in future. It'd be more advisable to take the more hardworking route here...
hey chill everyone... its meant for the slackers of college/university.... thats why its called slacker's guide to college/university. This guide is meant for the first semester only, the intro courses to whatever you are going into all are done in the first semester. These classes are so easy you dont really need to be there to know whats going on. but again like i said before i wouldnt advise doing this if; A) your retarded and you have a hard time learning B) or you are a social hermit that does not have any friends to help you out. This guide is only meant for the very first semester coming right out of highschool and is aimed at student athletes. Lets face it student athletes just want to have fun for the first little bit.
thank you for the compliment fproplayr88 , im now entering second year with a 3.0 thank you very much! and continuing my path to become a lawyer. I did definately followed this guide for the first semester and it was golden and i did not fail. when i wasnt in class my baseball (simon fraser university)team kept me informed of what was talked about in class. SO TO All the haterz saying that this doesnt work in real schools. Well it does.
lol this sounds like something out of van wilder. i have friends who are college athletes and they don't make it seem anything like this. they pretty much do all the normal stuff PLUS play their sports (mostly baseball). maybe if you're like a star player attending a big time sports school this would work, but i dont know how far past that it would go.
Lol that sounds exactly like something my friend would do. He went to play baseball and he's definitely a slacker
Its called Slacker's Guide to college/university for a reason. It's obviously not for everyone and if you can't pull this off then you're obviously not a slacker. I tested this theory first year of college and attained a b avg.. I only went to the tests and some study block classes. other than that i got the notes from other people. Also nowadays almost every class will have a homepage full of links to notes and extra reviews. These are meant for you to look at and get up to date.
Having been through 1st year Uni doing no work, I've noticed in 2nd year they really up the standards. Even if you know enough of the subject, they WILL fail you anyway. I heard 2/3 of my class last semester failed, even the ones who actually knew their stuff. I've decided to try home schooling instead of going now, since they only record attendance for pracs. And I will start studying. In the last month of Uni.
