Exactly why everyone dosen't like them. If you grew up on macs though instead of windows, you'd say windows is such a pain to use... Its cause they are different, and there are many key differences. They aren't quite the same, but when learning an operating system for the first time, macs are much easier to learn. Macs are as customizable though. If i drove a bmw m5 right now, i'd hate it too, cause the functions in there are so advanced, that i wouldn't know how to use most of the shit in there with out instruction... same with a mac... If you don't understand it, you won't like it. You shouldn't hate just cause you don't understand something.

You don't have exspantion slots like you do in windows either. I don't think my mac even has a PCI exspantion slot, lol. Though they do have macs with them, the parts are a lot more. In the end though, you getting less freezing up, smoother running programs, and an all around better proformance the windows. Its also nice not having to worry about how weak my security is, and viruses, as those are always very high. As i was building a pc the other day, i had to install 60 security updates for XP... that many flaws? I've had maybe 2 security updates for macs every... Simply cause they don't have the security problem to begin with...

This should've been called is technology taking over the world or something, because imo it's not just apple who makes awesome products and phones that can everything. I'm really not "scared" from it, I just dont use it. I don't see why I should have internet on my phone, sure it's handy sometimes, but I also have a little laptop with wireless internet everywhere.. And I only use my phone for texts and calling, I don't even take pictures with it =P Like flipmyflo I like my things seperate.

IMO once they start implanting little microchips in us like they already require for dogs and cats...that's when I'm gonna start worrying lol

But business professional/Some students need internet on the fly...So phones incorporate these extra functions for the sake of mass appeal!!

They just try to target the larger audience..the working people!!

And besides the basic rule in Design for manufacture is People will always prefer a multi-functional product than a single purpose product!!!

As for mac and windows heya quoted

Gah, every product has different target audiences. You don't curse the mobile phones for making home phones look so outdated, because ultimately, the home phones still have their own use. It's just that mobile phones are targeted at people on the go. Mobile phones aren't going to 'take over the phone world' anytime soon.

Same for the computer industry. PC's will remain in use. I'm not exactly concerned about the growth of Apple. Just let their company grow; it's what every company aims to do. We aren't going to live on mobile phones and only mobile phones. We aren't going to live on Apple and only Apple.
