    Yeah, I had the text placed that way because there was no good superimposition I could find with the program I was using (didn't allow much text color variety).

    thanks much rider! :) i love it +rep and the only problem i see with it is that the text could be a little bit less opaque but it still looks great as is :)

    It'd be hard to find a guide on that. People who actually know how to do all that font work just say, "I just know". Like my friend when I asked her. If you do happen to find one though, please let me know. xD

    Experimentation is key. Download loads of fonts, more Sans-Serif (block-like) fonts as they usually look better on signatures. You'll get the hang of picking the right fonts with enough practice. Usually, I try to make the text look one with the pic and not make it too obvious, unless it's may main intention. That's not to say that contrast isn't good. It is. I also notice that a lot of the text in your signatures are small, it wouldn't hurt to make them bigger once in a while.
