Heather (once the other coconut): From what I have gathered, the mist is only sometimes an option. It can only be cleared once. The first three times I found Tarla, I was only given the option of an item or np. On the neo boards, it seems as if the option for mist is random, some people get it the first time and some people have to find her a few times.
Ahhh. That's really good to know! That would be frustrating having to wait around for the option to clear the mist XD
I've gotten 3 prizes: A cloud sky background, mystery dessert goo, and a green backpack. It seems like the prizes are completely random, which is kind of nice. It means that they won't all be devalued immediately. And yes Heather...it really is annoying.

Tarlas workshop maybe? On another note..There is some possibility that she is sort of visiting lands alphabetically. Altador, Brightvale, and Faerieland today. If the pattern holds it will be Haunted Woods, Kiko Lake, and Krawk Island tomorrow. (This is not my personally theory, just thought you all might like to know) Except for lost Desert Foods. This would mean less aimless seaching.

Okay I have a question... Does having the neopets toolbar help? Because that has a Tarla alert correct? Dos that alert work with this site event? I don't have the toolbar or I'd test it. But if someone else does... could you let us know?
As per jellyneo.com q & a .. the tarla bar does not give an advantage. it does not light up when she appears anywhere.
I would lurk on the neoboard chat on this more than I would check TDN. By the time they get updates and update their site she's already gone xD
