    Technology is the only thing keeping us alive (it's true) we need to advance more or die.

    For the people who said that we'll become more lazier with technology, I'm sure that people who care about their health enough will realize that it should not affect our fitness. Ecologically, yes humans are taking technology too far (more people live, not good for our population) but hey, you only live for so long

    Technology may be negatively affecting us but it can never go too far.
    To stop innovation will have far worse concequences than technology will.

    Within our lifetimes it will most likely be possible to utilize life-extending technologies and effectively stop and even reverse aging. So once we're living forever, we won't really need to reproduce any more, and even less so once we've downloaded our brains into computers and given ourselves mechanical bodies.
