I'll have to agree for HIM. There's not that much songs I like from them. But things are always evolving so maybe in a couple years from now, I won't include this song in my list anymore. As for MM, I really like the "smells like children" album but some of the new songs are just perfect to me. Finally, as for triphop, there's time for listening to this kind of music. I don't ride in my car listening to that... but in a bed... XD
Aaw.. half those links are down already :S Anyways.. I see you like a lot of the same bands as i do, *total metalhead* \m/
Today, triphop part 2. Funny enough, they come from Bristol too. Massive Attack Teardrop - End of triphop - Fell free to comment !
I liked this song better than the other triphop song. The video was...interesting. Still, when I'm looking for mood music, I know where I'm looking first, and celtic puts the beats on triphop, and there's also not much excitement in the music to want to use it for something else the use you mentioned seems acceptable though
Late posting ! Just saw the word "Celtic" in the previous post and realized I never made a post about this artist. And she was born in Canada ! YEAH ! I can't find a music video apart from live performance so this one is purely for the music. Loreena McKennitt The Highwayman Feel free to comment !
excellent choice! as a Canadian Celtic singer, I am obligated to respect the only other one that's made a name for themselves. It helps that she's excellent. I love Never Ending Road, and there are a lot of other great songs of hers. Highwayman is one of my favourites, although slightly tainted because it was my ex-fiance's favourite, due to being based on her favourite poem. Still a beautiful piece of music though, if a little repetitive after a while. She was also great on the Santa Clause soundtrack, which isn't a fact a lot of people know
First time I have ever heard of Loreena McKennitt, but I like the sound. Ive also been checking out other songs you have posted, and even though they arent my usual style of music, Ive liked all of them except 1. Is there any certain genre of music these artists come from, or pretty much just random since you said its just stuff you like?
They almost all play metal altough they come from different sub-genre. see the spoiler for more information XD Spoiler
quite the chart, I've never seen that before. And it's still missing quite a lot, but if it didn't, it wouldn't fit on the screen
while beautiful celtic music is a great way to end things, I'd still rather see this continue. I was enjoying it
Bringing this thread up for a really sad news: Paul Gray, the bassist for Grammy-winning metal band Slipknot, was found dead Monday in an Iowa hotel room but there was no indication of foul play, police said. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/37323183/ ... rtainment/ R.I.P.
