I'll be constantly updating this so keep watching the updates at bottom :)

Before you ever start RSing you need :-
*An account :p (3months+ if possible [[Can be purchased for ~300k once your level 1 status]])
*Some starting NP (Depending what shop depends how much you need)
*a decent speed PC (doesnt need to be a $15000 gaming machine)
    * make the account look as legit as possible (Even if your cheating or legit) Beating punchbag bob trophy/cellblock/cheat/100+ avvies

RSing is just simply buying rare items from the neopian shops and selling them in your shop for a higher price. Some items give you 1k profit. some items give you MILLIONS profit :D

    Theres 3 ways I RS personally -

The fully legit way. I use firefox. While fully legit i tend to do small profit shops that restock a lot of items. Book / plushie / stamp are my favourites while fully legit.

The semi-legit way. I use opera. I tend to hit the big shops for this. BM/magic/ and another random shop. I tend to get 1 BIG item worth a few mil a day. Or sometimes i get absolutely nothing :p

The AB way. Any 3monther account + 100k-200k. and AB a shop :p (When im completely lazy and dont care about being iced)

Im going to concentrate on the fully legit way first. first of all set FF up to RS much easier. Press Ctrl + - twice. (reduces text size) Means you can see up to 3 rows. Press F11 for fullscreen meaning you can see the full three rows. Now my little trick (never shared but other people may used) You'll realize that when RSing you can never find the big items and always go for small items by mistake. So On FF click tools -> options -> advance and tick the "begin finding as soon as I start typing" (Ill explain why later on)

now to actually RSing. Open up your chosen shops ( Ill use book as an example) ID number 7. Always click the shopkeeper to refresh as it is much faster. When the shop stocks up, type 000 on the number pad. IF you followed the instructions earlier it'll automatically scroll you to any books priced at 5k/10k (These are the bigger profit items) Always buy the 10k ones first :p

as you can see when I typed 000 it went to a 5k item in top row. Click the Arrow at the bottom left (Just to the right of the box) and it'll scroll to the next item with 000 in it. "90% of the time there is only 1 item with 000 in so its very rarely used." NB: all items from that shop are worthless junk

Now once it's scrolled to the item left click it and press enter/spacebar to get rid of the "are you sure" box. Now as soon as it loads the haggle page this is where you can save the most time. In the box type in the fastest haggle you can. (for example on a 10k book) Most people is 9898 or 9878 or 9876 etc etc. NEVER do 10000 as you'll get confused and it's 5 digits instead of 4. While your left hand is typing the numbers use your right hand to click the pet as soon as you have finished typing. Hopefully it'll say item bought and then you can sell it for a profit. (this method works in most shops that UB's stock at 10k, stamp/plushie etc.)

If that wasnt simple enough i made a quick video Click here to view The first 1minute is rubbish just skip it. (sorry editing took too long) Ill post a better video of a better item once I get one but the video slows down the RSing so it'll be awhile. (waiting for youtube to process video) 1:15 the shop restocks. 1:18 i use the 000 search method. Then I get the item. It lags a bit as the video recorder doubled my refresh time

Another method that i use/combine with the first is to study the AB'er list. so when a shop stocks you'll recognize the UB's much faster.

Both these methods should have next to 0% freeze rate if you dont break any other rules.

The semi-legit way. To semi-legit way using opera.

First set up your the browser to the way you use it. I use the "-/minus" key 3 times to make the text smaller and F11 the page so I can fit 7 rows of items easily. Next you want to turn javscript off, so for every window open go to any shop (prefably the one your going to RS in) And left click an item, DONT PRESS OK. Where it says "stop scripts" on this page tick it and then say ok. Now javascript is off and the "are you sure you want to" doesnt come up.
Are you sick of all the junk items showing up and not letting you see the big Unbuyables. Right click Anywhere on the page and click "block content" you can then press Shift + Left click on all the junk items. Ive spent 3 days doing this in all 3 of my shops and still items show up that are worthless because its the first sign ive seen them RS. so everytime the shop RS's get the good items. Press backspace and block the junk. Ive got stamp fully done now so everytime it RS's it only shows me the 50k profit stamps :D
So now your shops are all setup. Refresh as normal in your shops (Dont refresh too much as you'll get banned) and grab the items. Opera also has nifty features. You can use the numbers 1 and 2 to scroll between tabs, and you use the numbers to haggle :) So i prefer to use the shopkeeper to refresh and the numberpad to swap tabs/haggle. Opera also has autorfresh. Right click -> Reload every x. This can be handy as i just sit there waiting for items to pop up then haggle :p But refreshing manually you can do it more random and look much more legit [[I based this on hillhawks paragraph :) thanks]]

Ive used this method for a month without getting iced (javascript) and ive got no results on the blocking images of freezing %.

The ABer way - Kinda obvious :p Longest ive gone without getting iced is 2days *not weekdays* so kinda risky :(

The times you RS do have an effect. Early AM GMT time is best (00am Game time) as you hit 5pm GMT and 9am game time it gets REALLY busy and you have to be much faster.

    Good profit shops -
Nearly all shops provide profitable items. Some are LOW profit but u can get lots of them. some are HIGH profits and you'll get 1 item a week.

    My suggestion -
Start at pharm (Lots of profitable items RS constantly and very slow so you can practice haggling) The 000 search method doesnt work as none stock apart from 1-2 items.
Then once you get faster you can move into nearly all shops.

A list of constant/meduim profit shops are: stamp/magic/plushie/book/toy.

A list of RARE/MASSIVe profit shops:
    Bm/Dm/Rpot

Selling your UB's is probably the most annoying part as you get stupid offers on them :p you can sell a few ways. My preferred method is put the item in Trade Post (TP) and just say Going lowest than anyone else and you'll maybe get a few offers/neomails. Then Ill advertise on the Trade Chat(TC) and talk to some resellers and get some decent offers. Or you can just stick it into the TP and hope someone needs it for a quest or a collector neomails you :p MUCH slower but you'll get a much higher price :D

To make both methods seem legit take screenshots. Once you've bought an item press "print screen" to the right of F12. Open up paint and paste it into paint. Click the Dotted square at top left and just copy the item picture and the you have payed xxx for xxx. (This is especially importnat if you use the disabling javascript method as it'll show in the adress bar that it is disabled and then you'll be reported.) Once its done. save it as jpg/gif and upload it to imageshack/photobucket etc and then post it onto your petpage userlookup using this code.

    Code (Text):
    1. <div class="text" id="{CB}" style="font-family: monospace;"><ol><li style="padding: 0 5px; background-color: #fff; line-height: 16px; border-bottom: 1px solid #efefef; border-left: 1px solid #999;"><br><img src="LINK HERE"></br></li></ol></div>

also take random screenies of funny scammers/spammers/random events/BD fights to make it seem like your around a lot. Just anything that makes you look legit.

To add screenshots to your petpage go to "pet central -> Then click the lupe "pets page" -> Then click edit -> Then use the code above with the link of the image.

RS bans usually happen when you refresh too much. It can happen after 1 refresh or it can not happen for the night. I work on the average of 19 hours a ban. so presuming its a school day. If I AIM to get banned at 10pm GMT. That gives me from 5-9 RS'ing normal the next day. And 9-10 refreshing like crazy :D Then you'll get unbanned around 5pm the next day :):)

^ example of which bit to save. as it doesnt show any infromation more than needed.

    NEW UPDATE-(small)
    copy/paste haggling.
there are a few shops where u can copy/paste ur haggle.
Copy and pasting ur haggle is faster and saves the chance of mistakes, all u do is basically type a number anywhere on ur Pc, highlight it copy it. Then when u buy an item, click paste and click the pet. (ctrl+V is much faster)
Stamp/toy/books - (5k/10k haggles) 5151, 9898 are best 2 to have copied. take ur chances
    Battle magic/defense magic - 90k-100k (98989 is my favourite)
    Magic - (20-40k) 31313 being my favourite
    Rpot - 165165 (levs) 41414 (ppots)

Only a small update. but it may help

    any tips/suggestions/critism is ALL welcome
Any typos "There will be hundreds" that can be pointed out are welcome (But you will get an evil stare for making me look stupid)

I use Opera's auto-refresher on about 12 tabs... it's so EASY. I get banned in 30 minutes but I can catch almost every rs right on the nose.

I'd like to point out that in your semi-legit way which involves disabling scripts, it can be done in firefox too..

Under Tools > Options > Content > untick the enable javascript box, and voila, same thing as opera's disable script :)

Another thing you might like to add in is installing adblock for firefox from http://adblock.mozdev.org, then as each refresh comes on, use adblock to block off the bad items, so when you refresh, the bad stuff dont show up :D
