The End of Neopets

I´m share lightningstalons opinion,
someone will bring TNT to trial
and they will lose.
In the end the side will get closed.

 

I doubt that any kid is going to waste is live getting up to the TNT's team that do all the programing and the blow it up.
But again i think neopets is going to keep going for at least another 10 or so years so you can keep up the good work with the neopets stuff

 

I say that TNT has a bad future ahead of them!!Seriously who wouldn't go mad if an old account that was used Legitly got frozen!!Think of all the wasted hours that would be on it!!I would definately go for the whole revenge thing if that happened to me! >

 

Neopets will evolve and will be around for along time.. Possibly past our lifetime.

 

I really dont want to think about it but if i had to take a guess i would say someone would meet someone on neopets and meet up like myspace and eventually shut down

 

yeah, probably...they have something worth alot, they won't let go every... i don't think neopets as it is now can lastmore then 10 more years, as its going to get really boring soon (not that it isn't already if you've been playing for 8-9 years, lol), but i think soon, they'll change it around, make it way different then it is now i wish adam and donna would come back... then neo would be fun again... they were the creativity of the site... with out them, its boring... every plot they've had since they left sucked... it wasn't creative, it was too short, prizes for the most part sucked... just generally crap... i hope the deep resection (or as i call it, depression) that we're in kills neos money, and they resell the site to someone, cause as it is now, neo sucks...

There are now those annoying Flip Video adds, and eventually people will stop coming to the site due to the hastily growing amount of "CLICK ME!!! CLICK ME!!! IM AN AD!!! GET A FREE _____" things... Oh, and to the kid-ruining neopets theory:
LOL! NO! Who is gonna waste their life like that?

 

I don't know if there EVER will really be an end. I have to admit, I'd be a bit sad. But i'd also have a huge chunk of my life back.

I kind of think they will just get so money hungry that enough people won't subscribe. Then again...you never know. I subscribed to premium...and that was something i said id never do.

 

I agree that to many ads and the corporate play will be the end of it. It seems to be the end of all popular things.

 

Oil will run out and there will be no means of creating electricity on a large scale in a short space of time.
That = no computer or internet which will more or less contribute to the destruction of neopets
(and every other site)

 

I've thought about this befor, actually I have thought about it alot. When will be the end of neopets?

I hope that they just one day don't end it out of no where, they give us like a year warning, that neopets is going to be shutting down soon.
I don't think that neopets will be going down anytime too soon though.

 

I think it'll be around for some time now. It has been up until this point
If they see a significant drop in players and hence, profit, they'll change things up. Maybe they won't make it any better, but the fact is they're still getting tons of business, so for now they're going to stick with their ads and crap.

 

The end of Neopets will come when everyone gets bored of trying to improve and maintain their pixel life, at some point Neopets will become overrated, their "money-making plans" will fail and advertisers will pull out. When they find that their finances cannot support the amount needed to sustain Neopets, they'll be all "To heck with Neopets, let's make Nopet Z, the new Neopets in anime"

 

Neopets will eventually grow so large it will be played by everyone world wide. At that point itll become 1987, where they control everything everyone does, because no one wants to be iced. Technology will have advanced to a point where we are all zapped into the game, and then people will realize how ****ing retarded it is, form a rebelleion, destroy the overlord (TNT), and then go on a petpet killing rampage.

 

i think someone will hack it a mad player chain iced will get revenge it has happened before to alot of sites

 

Once Neopets gets sold a few more times. Gets a few more advertisements. Forgets about its users. Ends up costing themselves all of their supporters leaving them with noone to play the game

 

Neopets Will Be Done In Probably a Maximum of 10 Years.

Peopel Bot SOOO Much.

They Cannot Handle it.

People Will Flame them way to much when they get frozen, And Someone will probably end up hacking into Neopets..


New Technology.... DUhhhh

 

I assume Viacom will get greedy and make neopets pay-to-play. Like having no free aspect of the site anymore. They've already started providing paying customers with more advantages, such as NC weapons now, I believe, as well as the option of playing against NC challengers in the AAA challenge. Gay.




Then that will limit neopets to like < 5000 people, out of the millions that play. And it'll just give up as a result.
