IMO the Bible is far from boring, even for non religious people. There's sex, homosexuality, smut, murder, betrayal, demons, angels, war, good morals, messages, destruction, annihilation, giant monsters, super humans, cults... What's not interesting about that? lol

Most boring book I ever read was probably an html book -____-

Ouch, don't hate on Lord of the Rings <3
But seriously, stay far away from the Virgin Suicides. I thought the premise sounded pretty interesting, but it was the most boring 2 hours of my life before I gave up. Maybe I just completely missed the subtle metaphors and messages or something, but it was awful.

The Floating Staircase. I'm trying to get through it right now for my bookclub, but I really cant get into it. Its supposed to be a horror-ghost story, but to me it just seems like a lot of whining about the main characters dead little brother.

Economic books such as The Wealth of Nations. Moreover, I find them to be incredibly interesting and thought provoking, and I am always glad to be more knowledgeable on what they say, but the actual process of sitting and reading an old Georgian era or Victorian era man talk about pin factories is....well, rather droll, to put it kindly.

I also hated, much to most everyone I know's contempt, To Kill a Mockingbird. Just was not what I was expecting.

I really did not like Pride and Prejudice which is weird because I love the movie.

Ughhh Adam Smith you son of a b*tch! I hated that book. + agreed, To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my least favorite books.

Going to throw my old AP US History textbook into the mix...

Hmmm... those have to be the in-class reading books like Fahrenheit 451 and Brave New World.

I guess that doesn't really apply to me, I'll read anything. Reading is fun for me. In school, in school, instead of working, I would literally read the dictionary or go off on unrelated tangents in the textbook to entertain myself.

I would defiantly have to agree that Oliver twist was unbearable to me. I guess it was just because it was forced on us in high school.

How to Kill a Mockingbird. Yeah it's a universally accepted great book, all the schools use it, etc. But I honestly just couldn't stay awake reading it.
