i run usually 5 is good and then i go have along shower after then i'm as goo as new! haha stress eating makes me feel guilty
When I'm stressed out...I just randomly surf the net for no particular thing. I get even more stressed out if I don't have access to the internet, so I just play random card games on Microsoft. xD
I run. Usually 5 k does it for me, and then I have a long shower after. Then I can deal with whatever stressed me out.
I wish I could do that, Cozetta. xD I end up just playing my sport or sleeping or reading or hanging out with my GF/friends.
I try and isolate myself from other people and taking deep breathes and yelling actually helps a lot (making sure no one sees me obviously)
I usually go and chop wood. We usually have at least some wood laying around to be chopped so I go and do that. Smashing a bit of wood with a axe is very relieving and it also gives you exercise.
I usually take a nice long nap (assuming whatever is stressing me out isn't a time-urgent thing where I can't just sleep). Or reading... reading is probably what I do most to escape stress.
Life in college is one hell of a stress I must admit. Usually have the late friday night parties. And chilling out on the weekends, either reading books, listening to my favourite music under the stars, and going out to play sports and watch movies. Keeps me as a whole.
recently i've been taking long bubble baths & occupying myself with whatever i can (phone, computer, tv, sleep) so i can just keep my mind off of whatevers stressing me out. ^-^
For me the number one stress reliever would be trashtalking and then winning a dota game. so satisfying.
Watch tv with my boyfriend, cook, bake, or dance. Ballet used to be the go to, but I now have bad ankles as a result so I had to find substitutes.
I recently found a new technic of breathing to release stress. Check out - http://www.therelaxationmovie.com/ Its soothing and gives great relief.
Normally I'll go workout or take out whatevers stressing me out on a boxing bag. It's really hard to sleep on whats stressing me out because I'll be thinking about it all night.
Yeah I have that problem too. The thoughts get into your head then reverberate around your skull like a car stereo on Uber-Bass mode. Thing that tends to work for me, since I'm neither athletic nor particularly fond of alcohol, is to just play some video games, listen to music, or watch the three stooges beat up on each other.
