Chrome can be quite good but I prefer Firefox. The level of customisability with the use of Addons and custom themes is amazing. And there is always the complaints about Chrome terms of use in regards to user submitted content.
I use firefox and chrome. I like having two for being on multiple neo accounts and stuff. I use firefox more as my main browser, though, because chrome isn't as well supported on macs. I think that if I had a windows PC I would use chrome exclusively. There are nearly as many userscripts for chrome that do the same things as the good firefox addons, so that's not really an issue. And chrome is definitely faster. I just find that it crashes a little more than firefox on my mac so that's what I'm going with . I'm excited to see the new firefox, though. I've seen some preview images and it looks really well-done.
i use firefox and chrome together too. just like what heyitsamy does ..but IMO, firefox stands out with the addons and stuff..only advantage chrome has is it's speed.. for me, most of the time when i do my normal browsing, i'll use firefox.
I like the UI of Firefox the most, but it often starts to take too much RAM so I'm considering switching to Safari. (I'm on a mac). But when I'm on my PC I always use Firefox.
For me, I've been using firefox, well since i can remember. Tried using Chrom the other day but just didn't like it. So i'll just stick it out with firefox as the customization, add-ons etc are great.
I've done some research, and in the end it comes down to personal preference. Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari, and Internet Explorer all work just about the same with some minor differences. What I've read is that the new IE7 is finally on par with the the other browsers, but it is still lagging in apps and the speed of the faster browsers. Chrome is reputed to be the fastest and most minimal, with Opera coming in right behind. Safari is more about style and function. Firefox is quick as well, and it's best feature is that it has the most apps, but Chrome is starting to catch up quickly in the apps department. Opera is fast and stylish, but it is hard to say if it is as fast as Chrome. Overall, all the website reviews I read said that Chrome was the best browser in terms of performance, speed, and function, but the other browsers aren't very far behind. So pick out your favorite and stick to it!
i llike chrome. it works faster for me. when u open new tabs it opens them right to the left of the tab and not at the end of all tabs. the only downside no greasemonkey for it
Chrome always. Firefox when I -have- to because of some add-ons. But I really hate using IE and FF :C
I used IE for several years and it wasn't up until 2 or 3 years ago that I happened to discover Firefox; it was love at first use! I personally find it easier and faster to use than IE, and it comes with some cool features and plug-ins. I have yet to try others like Opera or Safari but I think Firefox's features will make me content for the time being!
i coded my own internet browser to suit my needs, but if i was gonna have to choose between the popular ones i would have to say firefox, just because of all the options it has, and it is definatley faster than I.E
Firefox/Safari/Chrome/Flock. All have different speeds or w/e and different functions, but all are very good. For #1, i'd say firefox/chrome.
With Imageclicks dead, it seems that I might be switching to Chrome soon. What are its differences/advantages over Firefox, if any? I wanna get pumped to DL it.
Google Chrome > FF Google Chrome is not only faster than FF but also looks better IMO. Plus for those who like FF for the Add Ons, I just have to say that Google Chrome also has them. (Extensions)
Firefox. Everyone was saying chrome was super awesome and all that, so I tried it and hated it. D: Think I'll stick with FF.
