ps3 = clunky, not-so-user-friendly, crap release games...not that great...gunna buy it in a year when price comes down and games come out but gah for now...ill stick with my 360 (go gears!)
I'd vote for ps3, as its the third generation, xbox360 can do better as its only the 2nd generation, anywho the prices were soaring high a couple months ago but now, they're dirt cheap
xBox is only the second generation, could be improved, wheras ps3 has been around longer with experience and its the 3rd generation, I'd expect it to be better
What are you guys talking about? First, PS3 isn't third generation, it's seventh generation. The third generation is the era of the original NES and the Sega's Master System, that came out after the great crash of '83. The PS3 haven't been around for longer at all, it came out one year AFTER the 360. If you meant Sony by the PS3, no, they haven't been in the industry for longer then the 360. They had the original PS1 before Microsoft had any consoles out, but they have been making games for much longer then Sony, and...Well, it's Microsoft, they don't even need to worry about losing money. Also, the 360 is the same generation as the PS3 and the Wii, it's not because it came out a year earlier that it isn't next-gen. PS3 is overpriced, Blue-Ray (Blu-Ray?) sucks (Who had the great idea of having a DVD war too? Geee.) and it's got no games I want to play at all. I loved the PS2 for all it's RPGs, but a lot of developers are moving to the 360 and the Wii, so they might be getting more. The 360 is a nice console, nice graphics, best online, etc, but it's games, beside Viva Pinata, just doesnt' appeal to me. The Wii isn't as amazing as I thought it would be, the remote doesn't feel as "WHOA" as I felt it would, but it's still got a lot of good games coming out, and it would be really cool if the Wii would be to the consoles market what the DS is to the handhelds market.
Wow, there is a suprising ratio of fanboys on this sight. If you go look at gamefaqs polls (which usualy have over 50,000 voters) the wii gets a HUGE advantage, the ps3 completely fails, and the xbox360 hardly does any better.
Xbox360 is by far going to be the best. Even though it runs a little hot it has the best GPU. Sony went cheap on this one with the hardware they spent too much making it "shiny".
