My friend told me to use utorrent
but it confuses me and i still get some spyware stuff.

Ive learned to have other ppl download music or whatever I really need XD
So my comp doesnt get messed up :)

Direct Download works the best for me.
But in the past I used uTorrent for a while but now not so much anymore.

I've only used LimeWire, but now, I rarely ever :p...usually just get them off YouTube.

Oh, I thought you meant like an internet downloads accelerator. For that, I use Orbit Downloader :p

    rapidshare and FLV downloader.

Torrents are old and not very useful nowadays imo. I get much better download speeds with the upper two especially with rapidshare premium.

Also with torrent you upload while you download, that can be problematic because uploading is legally much worser than downloading.

Oh, I also use VDownloader and http://listentoyoutube.com/

They both work very well, except listentoyoutube sometimes screws up on sound quality.

For browser downloads I use Orbit Downloader. I've already used a lot of downloaders and I think Orbit is the best!

    I use downloadthemall & utorrent.

Sometimes though, if I can't use downloadthemall, then I'll just use the regular firefox download thingy.

If it's torrents I use Vuze.

If I direct download and it's larger than 100mb I sometimes use Free Download Manager, it can use multiple connections and pause/restart the downloads if necessary, much like any other download manager. I used to use Net Vampire and/or NetAnts but it's been a while since I've used those...
