How can you still like Tokyo Police Club after their first full length album that they released was garbage IMO? A Lesson In Crime was pretty good, but they apparently didn't want to continue to copy The Strokes :/ How disappointing Thumbs up on the arctic monkeys though and weezer, even though weezer's latest effort was also not up to par...although it was good.
I'll listen to anything but rap/hiphop and country...I prefer ROCK!+ As I Lay Dying Avenged Sevenfold Nirvana Sublime Iron Maiden Metallica Slayer NOFX Tokio Hotel Red Hot Chili Peppers Demon Hunter H.I.M. East West Children 18:3 System of a Down Megadeth
Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Frusciante, Iron Maiden, Black Label Society, The Darkness, Kaiser Chiefs, and Nightwish to name a few of my favorites... I like very, very few rap songs and artists.
Isn't miss murder by AFI? Also, Boba, has Frusciante ever released a solo album worth listening to? I've tried listening to most of his stuff and it's generally crap that he just put out because he needed the drug money
You should be shot, hung, decapitated, and have your man berries removed for that statement. All of his solo albums, including the album he just released, are absolutely amazing.
Perhaps I will give them another listen...but his first couple of albums were absolute garbage...I swear to you I will still feel that way after I re-listen...I'll give you an update in a while
I've only ever heard Shadows Collide With People, because that's the only one I could find to download. I really liked Song to Sing when I'm Lonely and Wednesday's song. I'll have to download this new album though. I had no idea he was still releasing solo albums. And Ice, I bet a lot of albums out there, both good and bad, were written for drug money >
Yeah, but it seemed to me that his were just thrown together without any thought of quality...just so he could get an album out to feed his heroin addiction...
definitely Porcupine Tree. I love them, and Steven Wilson is awesome.. But Iron Maiden´s pretty good too B)
I haven't listened to porcupine tree in a while...As I recall, Up the Downstair, In Absentia, and Deadwing all had their moments though They draw a lot of inspiration from King Crimson, which is my fav band
