jobs ive had: none :( im 17, unemployed and i dont have a proper education to actually get a job :( my parents pulled me out in 5th grade to homeschool me, we did all the paperwork and that junk, but no one had time to homeschool me, so hopefully my sis is gonna help me get a GED at the college she used to go too ^^ however, jobs i wanna work at:

    eb games/game stop
pets mart (mainly with cats and aquatic and reptile critters im not much of a dog person)
when i get art courses to hone my art skills i may consider finding somewhere artistic to work :yup: same with computers, ive only been to one other site besides one like this and its inspired me to wanna learn more about computers and programming :D

also when 1 student, 2 adults, and one child cost 32$ to see a movie, i might work at a theatre a bit so me and my family can see free movies

noncheatercheater - did you come up with any ideas for what you want to do now?
Is it the same kind of work that you did before that you are looking for again? Like work in a store or something like that?

I'm looking for a job for the next couple of months before I start back at Uni, so I want to find something I can keep on part time while I'm back too. Maybe bar work or in a nightclub again. Have you tried anything like that? That was my fave job so far :D

    lol umm not yet

Trying to figure out what's around HERE first because there aren't a lot of opportunities!

I'm washing dishes at the moment so at least I'm not broke and falling more into debt lol

Yea def better then being broke :)

I'm exactly that :( I don't have a job!! I'm debating whether I should stay at home for the next 2 months and try and find a job here. Although it's the same as your problem, not many oppertunities.
Or I could head back to the city now and probably get a job easy.
    hmmmm decisions decisions....

Hmmmm I'm only 15 right now, and unfortunately most people only hire when you're 16. Some of my friends were able to get jobs at grocery stores/fast food places(they're also younger than 16 :p) but I think I'd much rather work at a clothes store or any other kind of retail for my first job.

Working at grocery stores just doesn't seem too appealing to me D:

Yea I def preferred working in a clothes shop to working in a food shop. But bar work is the most fun still I think, as soon as youre old enough! Waitressing is good too. We can do that quite young here I think, a lot of places pay cash in hand when it is holiday season.

I agree with being a waiter or waitress one of my friends makes almost 350+ a night (4 hours) working at TGIF and I have a couple other friends who make a decent amount of money off of tips and they still get payed a regular paycheck. It's less of course because of how much tips they make but its still extra money. Also have some friends that work on base pushing carts for the military commissary and all they get payed is tips and they make about 20 an hour most times.

I would be a waitress, too, but:

    1) I hate people.
    2) People talk down to me.
    3) I like revenge.
    4) I'd get fired to said revenge.
and 5) I like to spin kick people in the face if they make me feel like pooh!

Going into IT would probably be good you don't really need to talk to anyone and you can just sit at a computer and connect wires. Pays pretty good to.

    That's freakin awesome >:D

I should try that one day. Haha anyways going back on topic, being a waitress sounds pretty fun, but there's always the stress of running around or dealing with angry customers during busy times........then again I guess it's like that with any job really.

Well at the moment the only thing I've ever really done is take care of kids (day care/teaching type thing). But I'm currently trying to find something to do (since i really need a job at the moment) and have no clue what I want to do as a *career* in life.

Here are a few things I am interested in though.

    Criminalistics
    Health Care (nursing)
    Graphic Design
    Foods (chef, catering whatever)
    wedding planning.
