What stupid Neo-rumor/myth did you used to believe as a kid?

I used to spam trade posts with those chain messages "Post this 10 times in trade and get a free paint brush!" or whatever.

Lol my friend told me there was a museum where you could sell neggs to

wasted all my money on a rainbow negg and found out it wasn't true

I once believed that there was absolutely no way to cheat at anything neo-related.

i used to believe that if you pet was a starving and had no hit points that it would change colour

 

I thought that if you didn't feed your pets, they would die. Good thing that isn't true or I would be in trouble
I also tried to get 1 million from Coltzan, and I really thought Jelly World didn't exist since it wasn't on the map.

 

The Wishing Well actually gives you anything you want. How I miss those days lol

 

I believed your pets would die too, after leaving them for several years only to return and see them alive and doing well squashed that myth

Even though I can't get into one of my accounts because of the stupid birthday thing... So, they all could be dead

 

I thought Meerca's were the best pet because on the default Meerca petpage, it said "Psst...Meerca's are the best pet!" or something like that.

 

I believed that if you abandoned a neopet that was already painted with a paint brush, you will get the neopet with a basic color, and the paint brush in your inventory one week later.
I heard that it was a scam, but it was too late. :[

A Faerie Poogle. But the paint brush was around 250k at the time, so it's not much of a loss.

I also believed in the wishing well, Fountain Faerie giving out free colours at a certain time, and that it was impossible to be the top score for any game.

I got top score for Round Table Poker with 2340.
