I feel sorry for those of you who are too young to have watched the golden age of cartoons. Cow & Chicken, Angry Beavers, Duck Tales, Chip & Dale, Johnny Bravo, Animaniacs, Loony Toons, etc the list goes on. The only things worth watching today are Fairly Odd Parents and Sponge Bob.
Ah I loved Angry Beavers... I don't know if and when/what channel it still plays on. *shrug* But Sponge Bob...
I agree with Liwi on the point that we seem to have passed out of an era of cartoons. Ed, Edd, and Eddy will always have a special place in my heart, though lol.
I thought they still air Ed, Edd, and Eddy, don't they? Or at least up until recently. That was another classic show Meh. It's just that when I look at what airs on cartoon network today, I wouldn't watch 95% of it. It's just not as original and witty anymore. Or maybe I'm just biased because I've outgrown cartoons for the most part.
I agree. The first season was good, but then it just started getting into this boring, predictable routine, and I stopped watching it.
Its not just you, liwi. I too don't like alot of the stuff that's on nowadays, though I also am a little old for it. The Eds I don't think they show at this time, though maybe I just need to figure out when. And as for Pokemon, it may just be me, but it seems to me like one of those series that has gone on for a lot longer than it should have. Seems like its just trying to keep up production of the Anime to keep up with the games that they make, and the games haven't exactly been original from release to release either. Maybe people want to see the new pokemon incorporated into the anime. I dunno.
