Atmosphere. I say this for everything. But it's true.
It's already snowing here so we usually don't have lots of people trick or treating lol.

Don't really do Halloween now, mainly cause in my country it's not celebrated as big as the US.

When I was young I was really in it for the free candy. Man that was awesome. xD

Now I'm really in it for the dressing up. ^^V

It's the only time of the year when girls can (and will) wear underwear in public and not be called sluts. If you don't understand, wait until college and it'll all become clear lol.

I like dressing up but I don't think I'm going to do it this year. A costume might make it harder to play drums (I'm going to be playing music for a fall festival this year. YAY!).

Definitely the shift in weather. I always prefer cooler weather to warmer. Halloween usually marks that shift :) Plus the decoration around the neighborhood and stores are always neat.

I enjoy because it's the start for the other holidays as well, once Halloween is over. You can't beat free candy though and acting immature in costumes.

We don't celebrate Halloween here in my country. But I've watched people celebrate it in TV shows. You guys are lucky. It seems so fun =/

I'm too old for trick or treating, but I am like a little kid when it comes to buying anything from a bakery that has Halloween decorations on it. Orange iced cookies, cupcakes, etc.
