Piano. I grew up playing piano and flute so I actually found it really nice to get back into playing piano. My boyfriend is a music major, so I guess I had some added incentive and moral support getting through the two theory classes I took, along with all the other classes. I really liked minoring in something that was so opposite from my major. It gave me a chance to think differently and learn in a totally different way. I found my music classes to be more low key. I didn't follow through with it because I am not particularly talented and I didn't see a future in music for me. I would much rather be in a lab or something. I guess for me, both music and dance (ballet) were passions and activities that I enjoyed but that I never really considered as part of my future. I was always sciencey. How did you go from book editor to music major??
that would have been my guess, most people that don't follow through seem to be piano players. It's an interesting trend I've noticed. I wanted to be a book editor from like grade 1-5, because I was just so much more intellectual than all of my friends. I was reading adult books when I was 8. I enjoyed literature and it seemed like a job I would really enjoy doing for a living, then I learned that spell check means most people don't bother to hire editors. So I spent a year wanting to be a lawyer before I was introduced to the joys of music and then I never looked back after that. Nothing I'd rather be doing, I live for it.
My major is mechanical engineering too(PrinceErik which year)...i am finishing this year My college days are getting over!!
I just got accepted to Waterloo! Hi Michael, Congratulations! You’ve been admitted to the University of Waterloo for fall 2010 in Honours Mathematics, Regular. I'm so excited
I intend to study Psychology, and I hope to one day work with the criminally insane. I figure I'm going to minor in criminal justice, because it is related and I like shooting guns :yup: I used to want to be a vet, but then I discovered I hate biology -.- lol
Plan for mine to be Marine Biology, still have a year. But Im enrolled in a program now thats going to help me get a scholarship, working with my future professors from the Uni. of South Florida at some of the local marinas in the tampa/st. pete area, so at least I am on the right track.
I'm actually interested in the Criminal Justice field. More of the crime scene investigation thing though.
I've always wanted to be an architect or perhaps to do something that dealt with sports. Maybe one day...
