What's your opinion on romantic stuff vs. non-romantic?

Lets do it!! XD But basically.. you don't want to lay all your goods out on the table on the first date, know what I mean? You want to have something to pull out of your hat when it's time to really sweep her off her feet, or to reignite the flame. And I don't really have THAT much experience in the romance/dating field, but all I know is that being too far to either extreme (romantic vs non romantic) is never a good thing. Being able to switch it on and off makes the most impact (IMO).

And... I think I'm completely out of any more advice/input for this topic. XD

I agree with you. I was with this one guy who was romantic and lovey and shit twenty four seven and it just got annoying as fuck. D: Balance is goooood.
