Lab Ray is too random. Dubloons until you reach level 40. Codestones until you reach level 250 (since its a 100% chance of getting the stat vs. neggs/stat booster items) Finally neggs until you run out of money!
The prob. w/ the lab ray is that your pet's defense drops way down and levels stay pretty low in return for high HP, STR, and AGI. Also I think it costs about 700k I believe for it now. You can better utilize that money in dubloons/codestones.
Labray is definitely the best way to train your pet. There are a few pros/cons with it. I usually use the labray and sometimes do codestone training when the stats get like "eww". Wish I could use neggs instead, but theyre too expensive.
I'd say labray. It pays off in the long run if you don't care much about defense, and it gets really pricey to train with codestones with the level increment.
codestones, ive used lab and the problem is ur stats go up and down, one day u gain 3 levels the next ur down 2 levels its a waste of time
I only use the labray and codestones because neggs are too expensive and they usually only give you a few stat changes, but some of them boost a lot of them, like the Cool Negg.
Im saving for a lab ray aswell, I want to make my pet a hissi. Hissi is my favorite and most desired pet.
lab ray is really only useful if you arent serious about battling or are past the l250 restrictions for codestones. dubloons are not worth the extra hours it takes unless you are sleeping while it trains. so codestones all the way.
In all honesty, to train your pet the fastest would be to use Lab Ray every morning, dubloon train until you can't then codestone train from there. That will get you up there the fastest. I've seen accounts 1 month old that has personally trained a pet to beat the sf and has successfully done so. It doesn't take as long as you think if you train with those 3.
yeah, good points made. Also, go for a codestone lab mix if you don't mind loosing a few points or have enuff NP.
Codestones. More expensive but much faster. Its the only way to go. The lab ray is too unreliable for my liking
I use the lab ray every day and it doesn't matter what the pet is paint as even tho it might change species and just be blue or red... eventually, it'll change again. i've used the lab ray on fire, snow, faerie painted pets... it doesn't mater as I'm just going for stats and get those thru the lab ray or faerie quests. My stats are huge all due to the lab map and when i do get a pet that is exactly as i want it... then i just go and get another pet.
