When i was a kid i loved harry potter but i kinda outgrown it now my favorite book would be the memoirs of a geisha...
My faovrite book is the The Life of Pi its about this Indian boy that gets shipwrecked on a boat with a few animals(most notably a tiger) has a very good twist in the end.
I really like Ellen Hopkin's books, Crank and Glass. I know she has more books, but these are the only 2 I've read so far.~ But, I really do enjoy Hopkin's writing style, how the whole book is in like poem form. Not only is it easy to read, but its enjoyable and it really fits in with what she rights in that chapter. && since they books are based on what happened in Ellen's family, its really quite touching. I had to read this book and write a report on it, basically my whole class lovedit but idk I thought some parts were very dry and rough to get past from what I rmbr. I think I'll read it again with an open mind this time around.
For me its still one of the first chapter books i ever read in my life "Fantastic Mr. Fox" ~Roald Dahl
Candide is a favorite that I had to read for a class. It was written very satirically which is totally up my alley Another favorite would have to be World War Z by Max Brooks. It is written like a documentary about a fictional zombie war, with "real-life" accounts from survivors. It is also currently being made into a movie. The book's a must read for anyone into zombies!
Have a new favourite book now - 1984 by George Orwell. Became a big fan of his writing after reading Animal Farm. And I'm reading Matilda right now, used to be my fav when I was a child.
I don't really have much time to read, but from what I have read, I love books by Jodi Piccoult. My favorites would definitely be Picture Perfect and Nineteen Minutes. Since I'm in high school, the way she develops her characters multi-dimensionally really contrasts to books I have to read for school where every character represents a symbol, not a human.
I dont like books that develope slowly :/ My favorites are the ones that keep on going if you know what I mean...
Like volumes of a book? like Harry Potter and LOTR? I tend to find some of the volumes boring such as HP4 the Azkaban one. It was okay but I like the first 3HP the best
I dont really like books either. But, I would find it interesting when I'm reading on some horror ghost story books. And everytime I read it, everytime I get goosebump.
im also a sword of truth fan goodkinds visual depictions of battles and gore are A1, however ive heard alot of great things about Robert Jordan and the wheel of time so that is going to be my next read and i have a feeling i might have a new favorite
i also love Enders Game by orson scott card its science fiction at its finest. Ender is one of those characters that you will never forget and his attitude towards authority and his conviction to winning is inspiring
The world according to Jeremy Clarkson series. He is an excellent writer. Has that British sarcasm side which is very funny.
My favorite book is blood and chocolate? Why? Because its the first book I was ever really able to get into and I can read it over and over.. I do not recommend the movie
