    agreed , hes snobbish but ah well. He does have that quality as a player. i really like giggs.

    well seeing as i don't like most any other sports other than xc and vault my favorite has to be sergei bubka :) he's the world record holder in pole vault vaulting over 6 and some spare change meters, so basically that's around 20 - 21 feet and also my coach has met him also and he's apparently a decent person as well and not just a premadonna who's good at his sport and nothing else :)

    (I think this is the first baseball player to be mentioned in this thread? Unbelievable...I'm not even a big baseball fan, I think it's one of the most boring sports to watch...but none of you guys grew up loving some of the players???...wow)

    I'm gonna say that my favorite current player is Derrek Lee of th e Chicago Cubs. If I picked a retired player I would pick Ron Santo of the Chago Cubs :p
