Although I don't work out, I think it's easier to work out than go on a diet, if you want to lose weight. The whole diet thing really much depends on your metabolism. It's more effective if you work out, because you tone the muscles directly.

So I think working out IS effective in this sense.

I love working out! It makes me feel good about myself to be stronger than most girls. I can bench 165lbs, and can do 55+ pushups in a minute, and 53+ situps in a minute. Im pretty badass. Ive done a little p90x. I have a question though, do you use the diet part too? Or just straight workout?

Well if you're trying to get buff and maybe stay in shape, I guess so.

unless you want to be super buff, which i doubt since you are a girl, i say no on doing both. The diet is mostly to convert fat into muscle

Worth it. I always feel good about myself after working out, knowing that I'm keeping fit and toned.

Feh. Working out at the gym is a waste of time that could be spent doing more enjoyable exercise like jogging, hiking or trampolining, IMO. It's good to stay healthy but being somewhat of a chubby chaser I really could care less for the 'sexy toned body' stuff.
