Uhmmm. I don't know. I would rather have all my extremities and organs donated. =) After I'm dead, I want to help someone else live. When I was in Gr.6 or something, I read this book called "Finding Davids Heart" and it's about this girl who accidentally causes her brothers death. She goes off on an adventure and finds the boy who has her brothers heart. It's a really sweet story, childish of course (I was in Gr.6!) but it was really good. =)
1) I wouldn't care if it was me but I know other might. Shouldn't be a big deal but it is. 2) People probably shouldn't be doing this, others should have the right to decide what happens to them, but again, it shouldn't matter...you're dead. 3) There should be enough volunteers to begin with, they shouldn't need to use prisoners etc. 4) If there wasn't enough volunteers I wouldn't mind if they did it.
Well I don't know about on a traveling art/science thing....But When I die I want my best friend to have my skeleton and hang me in his closet....Yeah Im weird like that I guess
I have been to that exhibition, and it was amazing, though it took me ages to get it into my head that they were once real people! As much as it was really cool, I wasnt one of those who were joining a very long cue in order to sign over their body to the artist on the event of their deaths. Great exhibition but not for me. Burn me and bury me thats what I say. Although perhaps Lenin has the right idea, be preserved as you were in life not have your skin stripped off and disaplayed in the Tate!
No! I don't want people lingering around my dead body! A funeral would be bad enough! That is why I will never let myself die (or if I do, I'll make sure no one finds the body).
If I die a horrible and painful death with my limbs/intestines/etc torn off then I'd love to be seen by a few whiny kids and give them nightmares >:B And if people can make any use of my organs after my death then go ahead and take them. And burn the rest, I'd hate to be buried.
no way!!! its just outragous. unless it was for just family, but to have it on show for days on end *cough*james brown*cough* is rediculous
